Diriyah Art Futures to start monthly creative series at its headquarters
Diriyah Art Futures (DAF), the first center in the Middle East and North Africa dedicated to new media arts, will launch its latest public program, “Moving Image,” on November 18. The monthly series will explore storytelling and creative expression through cutting-edge media and technologies at DAF’s headquarters in Diriyah.
Designed as a dynamic platform for engagement, Moving Image
invites visitors to experience the evolving world of screen-based and immersive
arts. The program will bring together artists, technologists, and researchers
from Saudi Arabia, the wider MENA region, and around the globe—reinforcing
DAF’s mission as a hub for critical dialogue and innovation in new media.
Exploring the Intersection of Art and Technology
Through screenings, talks, and interactive experiences, the
series aims to expand public understanding of how technology transforms
narrative forms and audience participation. It encourages practitioners,
experts, and newcomers alike to experiment with creative possibilities and
reflect on how digital tools are reshaping artistic practice.
