Parsons awarded $56 million
contract for Diriyah phase II design and development

Corporation has announced the award of a $56 million contract from Diriyah Company to provide design
and construction supervision services for Phase II of the Diriyah development —
one of Saudi Arabia’s most iconic urban regeneration projects.
Located just 15 minutes from central
Riyadh, Diriyah is the birthplace of the Kingdom and home to the At-Turaif UNESCO World Heritage
Site, representing the ancestral home of the House of Al Saud. The project aims to
create a mixed-use, pedestrian-focused urban destination that seamlessly merges
traditional Najdi architecture with modern design principles.

Square to be the centre of attraction in Diriyah
Under the five-year agreement,
Parsons will oversee the design and delivery of neighborhood parks, open
spaces, and more than 55 kilometers of streetscape, as well as the public realm
for Diriyah Phase II. This includes streets, pathways, civic spaces, and
community facilities designed to foster an accessible, vibrant, and sustainable
environment for residents and visitors alike.
