Saudi Arabia’s Neom FC sets sights on Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard

Saudi Pro League club NEOM FC has reportedly stepped up negotiations with Inter Milan over the potential transfer of Benjamin Pavard, according to FCInter1908.

NEOM’s head coach, Christophe Galtier, is said to be actively pushing for the signing of the France international, viewing Pavard as a key reinforcement for his squad.

Despite previously expressing reluctance to leave European football, the 29-year-old defender is now believed to be reconsidering his stance amid growing interest from the Saudi club.

Galtier, who worked with Pavard during his time in Ligue 1, is personally involved in efforts to convince the player to join his project in Saudi Arabia. Sources close to the negotiations suggest that talks between the two clubs are ongoing, with momentum building on both sides.

Pavard joined Inter Milan from Bayern Munich in 2023 and has remained a crucial part of their defensive lineup. However, a move to the Saudi Pro League could present both a lucrative financial package and a new challenge for the World Cup-winning defender.

Stay tuned as developments unfold in what could be one of the marquee signings of NEOM FC’s summer window.
