Saudi venture capital firm invests $6.7M in five game studios
Venture capital firm Impact46 has invested SAR
25 million ($6.7 million) in five Saudi-based game developers—Fahy Games, NJD,
Game Cooks, Starvania, and Alpaka Games—through its SAR 150 million Gaming Fund,
launched in March 2024.
The move expands Impact46’s 2025 gaming
portfolio to nine MENA studios, following earlier investments in Spoilz and Spekter
Games. The strategy aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the National
Gaming and Esports Strategy, both aimed at positioning the Kingdom as a leading
regional gaming hub.
