international sports events, setting the stage for Qiddiya’s emergence as a
global destination.

The stadium will also be one of the key venues
for the 2034 FIFA World Cup™,
for which Saudi Arabia was officially announced as host in December 2024. This
will be the first World Cup hosted by a single nation since Qatar in 2022, and
the third held in Asia.
The project is being executed by a consortium
including FCC Construction
(Spain), Nesma Holding,
and Partners Contracting
Company, with completion expected by 2029.
