Saudi Arabia launches Cultural Assets Group as cultural enterprise  

In a significant milestone for Saudi Arabia’s creative economy, the Cultural Assets Group was officially launched in Riyadh, becoming the Kingdom’s largest privately-owned cultural enterprise. Bringing together seven companies and over 20 brands under one platform, the group aims to accelerate private sector contributions toward the cultural objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Headquartered in Riyadh with strategic offices in AlUla, Jeddah, Unaizah, London, and Paris, Cultural Assets Group includes prominent names such as Backyard Symphony, Knowliom, Sign, Haal, and Operal. The initiative is designed to stimulate cultural innovation
, attract investment, and support the sustainable growth of the creative industries across the Kingdom and beyond.

Driving Cultural Transformation Through Private Sector Collaboration

The group’s formation comes in response to Vision 2030’s call to bolster the cultural sector as a driver of economic diversification. With Saudi Arabia’s cultural and creative industries expected to contribute $47.9 billion to the GDP by 2030, Cultural Assets Group positions itself as a key player in unlocking this potential.

Abdullah Khalid Al Zamil, Chairman of Cultural Assets Group, emphasized the strategic significance:
