Neom SC looking to sign Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne
Saudi Arabian club Neom SC has
launched an ambitious bid to sign Manchester City’s veteran midfielder, Kevin
De Bruyne.
With his contract set to expire at
the end of the season, De Bruyne has been in talks with San Diego FC regarding
a potential move to Major League Soccer for next season. However, City manager
Pep Guardiola has expressed his desire for the 34-year-old to sign a new deal
with the club.

Despite this, reports from Fussball
Transfers suggest that Neom SC is pushing hard to recruit De Bruyne. The
powerful and wealthy Saudi second division side, which is on track for
promotion to the Saudi Pro League, is in serious negotiations with the Belgian
playmaker. Initial talks have been positive, and discussions are ongoing.
Earlier this season, De Bruyne
hinted that he was open to a move to Saudi Arabia, stating, "At my age,
you have to be open to everything. We're talking about incredible sums of money
for what could be the end of my career."
