Diriyah’s Transformation
Diriyah, established in 2022 as a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), is being developed into a premier global cultural destination. The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader vision to enhance its urban and cultural landscape.
The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) launched the first phase of the historical Diriyah redevelopment project in June 2020, backed by a SAR 75 billion investment. This ambitious project is part of a larger effort to blend heritage with modern infrastructure, reinforcing Diriyah’s position as a key destination on the global stage.
