Saudi Green Initiative: Tanmiah Food Company playing role in planting trees

Tanmiah Food Company announced its active participation in the 4th Saudi Green Initiative (SGI) Forum, held December 3-4, 2024, alongside the 16th session of the United Nations Conference of the Parties to Combat Desertification (COP16). Hosted in Riyadh from December 2-13, COP16 marks the largest multilateral environmental conference in Saudi Arabia, drawing policymakers, business leaders, and experts from around the globe.

Sustainability at the Forefront

For the second consecutive year, Tanmiah has taken part in COP events, following its 2023 appearance at COP28 in Dubai under the SGI pavilion. At COP16, Tanmiah showcases its environmental efforts through an exhibition stand highlighting key afforestation projects such as the One Million Trees initiative in Saudi Arabia and the 100,000 Trees project in Bahrain, part of the broader Green Middle East Initiative.
