Originally slated for submission by January 29, the bid deadline has been graciously extended to March 3, offering interested parties additional time to meticulously craft their proposals. The scope of this pioneering project encompasses the comprehensive design, procurement, and installation of cutting-edge wind turbine generators, substations, control systems, and essential infrastructure. Over a span of 31 months, this endeavor will unfold, harnessing the natural elements to generate sustainable power for generations to come.

Neom's commitment to environmental stewardship is further underscored by its proactive engagement in renewable energy initiatives. Collaborating with esteemed consultants such as Assystem and Typsa, Neom is actively pursuing various renewable energy projects, including solar photovoltaic parks and wind farms. Discussions are currently underway concerning the initial phases of Neom's broader renewable energy program, which aims to deliver an impressive 3,000 megawatts of capacity, marking a significant leap towards a greener future.

Enowa, entrusted with the pivotal task of realizing the Gayal wind farm's potential, is anticipated to award the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract tender during the second quarter of the year. This milestone represents a crucial step forward in Neom's overarching vision of sustainable development and underscores the collaborative efforts driving progress towards a more environmentally conscious tomorrow.
