Saudi ministry joins hands with NEOM to drive energy innovation
Following the official signing of the memorandum of
understanding (MOU) in Riyadh, Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin
Salman and NEOM CEO Eng. Nadhmi Al-Nasr are set to propel advancements in the
energy sector.
In a strategic collaboration, the Saudi Ministry of Energy,
led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, and NEOM, represented by CEO Eng. Nadhmi
Al-Nasr, have solidified their commitment to fostering cutting-edge
technologies within the energy domain.
Saudi
Arabia and India sign agreement to enhance cooperation in clean energy
The MOU, grounded in existing laws and regulations,
establishes a cooperative framework aimed at monitoring progress, identifying
areas for improvement, and providing technical and organizational solutions in
critical sectors such as renewable energy, hydrogen, sustainability, and
innovation.
This partnership extends its reach to various energy system
entities, including the Water and Electricity Regulatory Authority, the Nuclear
and Radiological Regulatory Commission, King Abdullah City for Atomic and
Renewable Energy, the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center, the Executive Committee
for the Governance of Energy and Water Prices Reform, and the National
Committee for the Clean Development Mechanism. Through a comprehensive
approach, the collaboration seeks to integrate and coordinate energy
initiatives across the spectrum.
