Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman unveils urban design
for Qiddiya city
Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC), launched the urban design for Qiddiya City, along with the city's brand.
The crown prince envisions Qiddiya as the future global epicenter for entertainment, sports, and culture. The inaugural major project, Qiddiya City, is designed to accommodate over 600,000 residents across 60,000 buildings, spanning an expansive area of 360 sq.km.

Situated just 40 minutes from the city center in Riyadh, the project aims to generate 325,000 job opportunities, contributing to a nominal GDP of SAR 135 billion annually.
Qiddiya City is planned to host significant entertainment, gaming, and leisure attractions, welcoming an estimated 48 million visits each year.
Key features of Qiddiya City include a dedicated gaming and esports district, poised to become a global hub for competitions, a high-speed park track, golf courses, an expansive water theme park, and the renowned Six Flags Qiddiya. Additionally, the city will boast a multipurpose stadium to cater to various events and activities.
