Aramco Digital Co. and Intel have revealed plans to establish Saudi Arabia's inaugural open wireless access network development center, marking a significant advancement in the nation's communications infrastructure. In this strategic
partnership, Aramco Digital Co., a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Oil Co., will
collaborate with Intel to expedite the development and implementation of open
wireless access network technologies. This aligns with Saudi Arabia's
commitment to establishing a resilient and robust communications
infrastructure. The open access network technology enables multiple service
providers to offer retail services simultaneously over the same access network,
providing subscribers with the flexibility to choose their service provider.
