Diriyah unveils the highlights of Saudi Arabia's cultural calendar
with Diriyah Season 2023/24
Diriyah, the birthplace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is set to host the highly-anticipated Diriyah Season 2023/24, a three-month extravaganza of cultural events and entertainment.
Starting on December 12, 2023, the season aims to showcase Diriyah's unique heritage and tradition to a global audience.
Under the patronage of His Excellency Ahmed Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism and Secretary General of Diriyah Company, the launch event took place in the historic district of At-Turaif. The Season positions itself as the highlight of the Saudi cultural calendar, emphasizing Diriyah's origin story and promoting a sense of unity among Saudis.

The festivities will unfold across various locations in Diriyah, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At-Turaif, Bujairi Terrace, and the picturesque parks and wadis. The program includes a diverse range of events, such as cultural concerts featuring Saudi music legends Rabeh Saqer and Ayed, themed Escape Room experiences, culinary offerings blending traditional and contemporary cuisine, captivating exhibitions, and more.

Cultural Concerts: The
season kicks off with a series of cultural concerts featuring renowned Saudi
music artists Rabeh Saqer and Ayed. The first concert is scheduled for December
12, 2023.
Escape Room – Journey to the
Future: Participants can engage in an Escape Room challenge themed around
the Kingdom's stories of the past, combining entertainment with historical
learning.
Ritz-Carlton
Residences in Diriyah, a blend of luxury and heritage
Diriyah Nights: One of
Diriyah's heritage farms will transform into an open-air wonderland, showcasing
local and global contemporary art, design, cuisine, live music, dance, poetry,
and theatrical performances.
Diriyah Doors Exhibition:
Reflect on the legacy of Diriyah and the Najd region through a visual
exploration of the brightly colored, patterned, and engraved doors in the
region.
At-Turaif Retrospective:
A multimedia installation that delves into the stories and memories of Diriyah,
exploring the ongoing impact of At-Turaif's values on contemporary Saudi
Arabia.

featuring state-of-the-art cars against the backdrop of the heritage site,
emphasizing sustainability and innovation.
