sign multiple deals amid strengthening ties
Türkiye and Saudi Arabia have recently concluded a series of significant deals covering investment, defense, energy, and communications.
The agreements were
signed during delegation meetings, which were chaired by Turkish President
Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia.
The two leaders held a
closed-door meeting at Al-Salam Royal Palace before the signing of the deals,
indicating the importance of their discussions.
President Erdogan's
visit to Saudi Arabia is part of a three-day Gulf tour aimed at strengthening
bilateral ties. Upon his arrival in Jeddah, he was warmly welcomed by Saudi
Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud and other officials.
Accompanied by members
of his Cabinet and other Turkish officials, President Erdogan will continue his
tour, visiting Qatar and the United Arab Emirates after concluding his
engagements in Saudi Arabia.
The signing of these
deals signifies a commitment to enhancing cooperation and collaboration between
Türkiye and Saudi Arabia in various key sectors.
