Entrepreneurs invited
to avail opportunities in Saudi Arabia
Leaders of Saudi
Arabia have urged entrepreneurs to avail numerous opportunities in the Kingdom,
emphasizing financial support for investors and business visionaries.
This call was made
during the 2023 G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliances’ (YEA) Summit, which took place
in New Delhi, India.
Prince Fahd bin
Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, who led the Saudi delegation, extended an
invitation to skilled individuals to join the ambitious project of building the
futuristic city of NEOM. Over 1,000 entrepreneurs are already actively involved
in this venture, forming a growing and dynamic group.
Throughout the summit,
the Kingdom's leaders participated in various discussions, conducted visits,
and held bilateral meetings. They also signed several crucial Memorandums of
Understanding (MoUs) and proposals, aimed at enhancing investment prospects for
emerging entrepreneurs.
Representatives from
key entities such as the Ministry of Investment, NEOM, the Ministry of
Communications and Information Technology, the Small and Medium Enterprises
General Authority (Monsha'at), Monsha’at Bank, STC Company, and several other
start-ups, entrepreneurs, and investors were part of the delegation.
The G20 YEA is a
global network comprising approximately 500,000 young entrepreneurs and
supportive organizations, as per the SPA. This alliance convenes annually ahead
of the G20 Summit to advocate for the significance of young entrepreneurs
within G20 member nations, according to the YEA website.
During this year's
summit, special attention was given to the importance of sustainable and
comprehensive international trade, as well as the transition to green energy by
adopting efficient economic practices. For the latest updates, individuals were
