Neom features in shooting of Indian film Dunki
The shooting of the Indian film Dunki starring famous Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan has been completed in the futuristic Saudi city of Neom.
According
to Arab News, the completion of the shooting of Dunki was announced at the
ongoing Red Sea Festival in Jeddah.
“Our ambitions are
greater than theirs,” said Neum’s managing director, Wayne Brugge, referring to
Abu Dhabi where many Bollywood movies have been shot in the last few years.
Shah
Rukh Khan thanked the Saudi Ministry of Culture after completing the shooting
of the film and said that I am grateful to the Ministry of Culture of Saudi
Arabia for providing such a wonderful place for shooting and for welcoming me
warmly.
It
should be noted that Shah Rukh Khan performed Umrah after completing the
shooting of the film in Neom and also attended the Red Sea Film Festival.
At the
Red Sea International Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan was honored with an
honorary award in recognition of outstanding services to films.
