Saudi Arabia opens employment opportunities for foreign professionals in various sectors

Saudi Arabia is broadening employment opportunities for foreign professionals across multiple sectors as part of its Vision 2030 economic transformation, while continuing its Saudization policy aimed at boosting local workforce participation.

The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment reports that the Kingdom’s ongoing reforms are creating new avenues for skilled workers, investors, and business professionals from countries such as Pakistan. While Saudization prioritizes local hiring in certain sectors, officials emphasize that foreign expertise remains highly sought after, particularly in technical and high-skill industries.

Vision 2030, the Kingdom’s blueprint to diversify the economy and reduce dependence on oil, is driving growth across industries including mining and minerals, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, logistics, healthcare, defense manufacturing, tourism, culture, sports, and entertainment.

The digital sector is expanding rapidly, with roles opening in e-governance, telecommunications, cloud computing, and data management. Logistics and transport are also evolving, with emphasis on port operations, railway engineering, and international trade to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role as a global trade hub.
