Saudi Arabia: Qiddiya becoming a major hub of culture, sports and luxury
Set alongside the upcoming Speed Park Track at Qiddiya
City, the Qiddiya Motorsport Hotel Complex is emerging as a
distinctive luxury destination designed for immersive, trackside experiences.
Saudi Arabia’s giga-project pipeline continues
to accelerate, with Qiddiya City standing out as one of its most ambitious
developments. Located around 45 kilometres from downtown Riyadh, the destination is being developed as a
major hub for entertainment, sports, and culture. Key attractions will include Aquarabia,
Six
Flags Qiddiya City, and the highly anticipated Speed Park Track. Within this broader vision,
the Qiddiya Motorsport Hotel Complex is being positioned to integrate
hospitality directly with one of the city’s flagship attractions.

Rather than a single property, the development
is conceived as a multi-hotel destination located in Qiddiya’s Core Resort
District, specifically East Village South. Plans currently outline a five-star
Sports Car Hotel with 89 keys, a four-star F1 Overlook Hotel offering 168 keys,
and 65 serviced apartments for extended stays. In total, the complex will
feature 257 hotel rooms alongside apartment-style accommodation, catering to
both short-term visitors and long-stay guests.
Spanning approximately 67,500 square metres,
the project will include a main tower rising to 136 metres, supported by shared
basement facilities, landscaped areas, and essential infrastructure. Its
proximity to the Speed Park Track is central to its appeal. The circuit itself
is designed as a premier motorsport venue, featuring 21 corners, speeds
exceeding 325 km/h, and its standout feature—the “Blade”—a dramatic
cantilevered section rising nearly 70 metres above ground level.
What sets the Qiddiya Motorsport Hotel Complex
apart is its integration of accommodation with experience. Rather than simply
offering a place to stay near a racetrack, the development is being designed as
part of a larger motorsport district, where hospitality, live events, and
entertainment converge. The result is intended to be a fully immersive stay,
placing guests at the heart of the action.

The wider hospitality landscape at Qiddiya is
also evolving. In 2025, Qiddiya Investment
Company announced a strategic partnership with Adeera to operate a portfolio of hotels across
the city. Adeera also introduced its Saudi-born brands Alia, Sama, and Noor,
while additional developments—such as a hotel adjacent to Aquarabia—are also in
the pipeline.
