The telecommunications sector alone generated more than 406,000 jobs by the end of 2025, compared to 250,000 in 2018. Meanwhile, the communications and IT market grew to nearly $50.7 billion, marking cumulative growth of 80 percent.

On social development, nearly 100,000 social security beneficiaries were enabled through employment and training programs by November 2025, reinforcing efforts to promote economic independence and job stability.

Healthcare Transformation

Saudi Arabia’s healthcare sector has undergone significant reform since the COVID-19 pandemic, positioning the Kingdom as a regional leader in medical innovation under Vision 2030.

Registered healthcare practitioners surpassed 800,000 by the end of 2025, representing annual growth exceeding eight percent.

The Saudi Board graduated more than 5,500 physicians in 2025 — the largest cohort in its history — underscoring expanded investment in medical education and workforce development.

Housing and Municipal Development

Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed al-Hogail highlighted a 1 billion riyal donation from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, describing it as a reflection of Vision 2030’s focus on strengthening families and investing in human capital.

Key housing achievements include:

·        Support provided to over 106,000 individuals

·        Protection of more than 200,000 people from losing their homes

·        1.4 million registered volunteers over five years

The Jood Eskan platform expanded from serving 100 families at launch to more than 50,000 families nationwide. Donors now exceed 4.5 million, with contributions surpassing $1.33 billion since 2021.

In 2025 alone, more than 150,000 digital housing transactions were processed, and the needs of over 400,000 beneficiaries were assessed using integrated national databases.

Al-Hogail also noted that the non-profit sector has grown to include 313 organizations and over 345,000 volunteers, aligning closely with Vision 2030’s social development objectives.

Umrah Sector Growth

Improvements in pilgrimage services have also exceeded expectations.

International Umrah pilgrims increased from 8.5 million in 2019 to more than 18 million in 2025. Pilgrim satisfaction rose from 80 percent to 94 percent over the same period, surpassing Vision 2030 targets through the implementation of more than 90 initiatives.

Record Donations Through Ehsan Platform

President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, Abdullah al-Ghamdi, announced that total donations through the Ehsan platform have exceeded $3.7 billion since its launch in 2021, across more than 330 million transactions.

The AI-powered platform uses spatial analysis tools such as heat maps to identify areas of need and prioritize support. The donation process is automated from opportunity identification to impact measurement, with real-time reporting to enhance transparency.

In 2025 alone, donations surpassed $1.2 billion through 135 million transactions. The platform processes an average of four transactions per second, with daily donations exceeding $3.2 million across roughly 390,000 transactions.

The Ehsan endowment fund — now the Kingdom’s largest traded endowment fund — has received more than $53 million through 3.8 million contributions and supports over 2,400 charitable organizations.
