Desert Polo is set to return on 16–17 January 2026, bringing together

Hosted once again at the Mohammed Yousuf Naghi
Equestrian Village, the event marks the return of the world’s first organised
desert polo tournament and stands as a highlight of the AlUla Moments 2025/26
calendar. Organised by the Royal Commission
for AlUla, the tournament continues to showcase a distinctive blend of
elite sport, refined hospitality and AlUla’s dramatic desert landscape.
Since its inaugural edition in 2020, AlUla
Desert Polo has grown into a signature international event, attracting a global
audience alongside regional elites and members of royalty. The tournament is
renowned for combining high-level competition with a sophisticated social

The 2026 edition follows the announcement of a
three-year strategic partnership between the Royal Commission for AlUla and
Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors, the exclusive distributor of Jaguar and Land
Rover in Saudi Arabia. As part of the agreement, Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors
has been named Founding Partner of Heritage Sports in AlUla and Official
Partner for key events, including AlUla Desert Polo and the FEI Endurance World
Championship 2026.
Beyond the matches, the event offers a
comprehensive lifestyle programme, featuring gourmet dining, live music, shaded
lounges, relaxation spaces, a dedicated Kids Zone, pop-up retail, local crafts
and interactive installations, creating an immersive experience for visitors of
all ages.
Tickets for AlUla Desert Polo 2026 are now
available, with options including single-day passes, a two-day pass and the
Polo Players Circle add-on. This premium experience offers enhanced access,
including guided visits to the field, opportunities to meet players, photo

the travel and tourism sector, AlUla Desert Polo continues to play a key role
in positioning AlUla as a high-value destination for premium sports tourism.
The event also anchors a broader winter sports calendar, which includes the
AlUla Tour professional cycling race (27–31 January), the AlUla Trail Race
(22–23 January 2026) and AlFursan Endurance AlUla (7–8 February 2026), one of
the world’s most prestigious endurance horse racing events.
