According to
municipal sources, the increase in visitors is part of a broader effort by the
Jazan Municipality to diversify the local tourism offerings, in line with the
goals of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in coastal development. A series of
developmental and investment initiatives spearheaded by the Al Shuqaiq
Municipality are transforming the area into a well-rounded tourist destination.
Key
improvements include the creation of designated family zones, public parks,
open activity spaces, and ample seating areas surrounded by lush greenery.
Infrastructure upgrades also feature walking trails, playgrounds for various
age groups, and a variety of commercial establishments such as kiosks,
restaurants, cafés, and equipment rental services. Officials emphasize that
these developments are designed to enhance the beach experience without
compromising its natural beauty and scenic vistas.
