Saudi Cricket, South Asian Network join hands to launch new cricket league
In a major step toward transforming the Kingdom into a global cricket hub, the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF) and the South Asian Network (SAN) have announced the launch of the Dunes Legends League T20, a high-profile cricket tournament set to unite international legends with Saudi talent.
The new league is aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to boost sports tourism, foster local talent, attract private investment, and diversify the Kingdom’s economy through cricket.
“The Dunes Legends League T20 is a milestone in our journey to advance cricket in Saudi Arabia,” said Prince Saud bin Mishal Al-Saud, Chairman of SACF. “It highlights national talent, engages the private sector, and supports Vision 2030 through new revenue opportunities and broader reach across the Kingdom.”
