AlUla welcomes Villa Hegra headquarters as center for cultural partnerships
The Villa Hegra Foundation has officially launched its headquarters in AlUla, following the inaugural meeting of its board of trustees chaired by Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture and Governor of the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU). French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati joined Prince Bader to inaugurate the new facility, with senior officials from both Saudi Arabia and France in attendance.
A landmark Saudi-French cultural
initiative, Villa Hegra underscores the long-standing partnership between the
two nations. Established through collaboration between the RCU and the French
Agency for AlUla Development (AFALULA), the foundation aims to serve as a
global hub for cultural exchange while preserving AlUla’s heritage and natural
beauty, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
