Huawei Cloud unveiled a suite of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives at the Huawei Cloud Summit Saudi Arabia 2024, aimed at accelerating digital transformation and supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objectives. The event, attended by over 600 participants, highlighted Huawei's latest AI technologies, including AI-ready model training and inference, and showcased the company’s global and Chinese ecosystem resources.

Key Highlights:

·         AI-Ready Infrastructure: Huawei Cloud is enhancing Saudi Arabia’s digital landscape with state-of-the-art AI-ready intelligent cloud infrastructure. This includes supporting the Saudi government's Arabic large language model (LLM), which powers over 20 AI applications with high resource utilization.

·         Local Ecosystem Development: Huawei Cloud is committed to fostering a robust local ecosystem by introducing global and Chinese partners to Saudi Arabia. This includes developing over 100 local partners and training more than 3,000 university students in ICT fields.

·         Business Growth: Huawei Cloud’s public cloud business in the Middle East has seen 300% growth, with Saudi Arabia’s public cloud revenue increasing tenfold in the past year. The company now serves over 300 customers in the Kingdom, including government ministries, top telecom carriers, fintech firms, media companies, and 90% of Chinese companies operating in Saudi Arabia.
