NEOM recently hosted the latest iteration of its global introductory tour, "Discover NEOM," in China, specifically in Beijing and Shanghai, drawing the participation of over 500 business and industry leaders.

The tour kicked off with an event in Beijing on April 15, organized by NEOM in collaboration with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. This was followed by another tour in Shanghai on April 17, also organized in partnership with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

During these events, senior leaders from NEOM highlighted key findings and developments of the project to date. They delved into various sectors within NEOM, sparking significant interest among attending companies regarding potential partnership opportunities.

A highlight of the tour was a dedicated forum for the construction industry, attracting over 100 Chinese construction firms. This forum provided insights into construction opportunities within NEOM across its diverse regions, along with updates on construction progress.

The tour also featured a special presentation titled "Discover NEOM: A Future Made by Design," offering attendees a firsthand glimpse into some of NEOM's most notable landmarks. These included "The Line," a 170 km-long urban project reshaping future urban living; "Oxagon," revolutionizing traditional industrial cities; "Trogena," NEOM's mountain tourism destination; and "Sindala," a luxurious marine tourism destination on the Red Sea set to open to the public by year's end.

NEOM CEO Engineer Nazmi Al-Nasr expressed gratitude for the support from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Beijing and Shanghai. He noted ongoing collaboration with the Chinese business sector, highlighting engagement with over 15 major Chinese companies.
