Neom's expansive development project has opened bidding opportunities for contractors interested in a $6.4 billion project focusing on Oxagon port work.
The project consists of two phases, with the first phase,
involving the construction of the port cargo terminal, already having undergone
the bidding process. Contractors have submitted bids for the initial $3.2
billion package. As the tendering process progresses, contractors and
consortiums are actively competing to secure the second tender.

City's industrial port, with the bidding deadline set for December 27th for the
$3.2 billion contract, covering building works and infrastructure delivery.
The contract specifically pertains to the construction project at Terminal 1 within Oxagon Port, with the award expected in the first quarter of the upcoming year, likely in February.
The scope of the Oxagon Port construction project includes excavation and mandated dredging by the contracted company. It also involves the demolition and construction of an extended quay wall, channel widening at the port, expansion of the container terminal quay, and earthworks.

Additionally, the project encompasses the construction of a
flexible quay and various infrastructures within the port's construction site.
The contracted company will also appoint a consultant for the design execution
phase.

Neom, with its unprecedented investment value, is recognized as the world's largest construction program.
