McLaren Racing expands partnership with Merchants Fleet
In a major development, the renowned British motor
racing team, McLaren Racing, has announced the extension and expansion of its
partnership with the rapidly growing fleet management company, Merchants Fleet.
Under this renewed agreement, Merchants Fleet will maintain
its status as the official partner of the NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team, building
upon a collaboration that originally commenced in November 2021. Furthermore,
Merchants Fleet will now also serve as the official partner for the NEOM
McLaren Formula E Team during season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World
Championship.

Merchants Fleet, a prominent fleet management firm in North
America, initially joined forces with the NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team with a
shared commitment to advancing sustainability initiatives and championing
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) efforts.
The partnership between McLaren Racing and Merchants Fleet
was initially forged during COP26 and has since continued to thrive, with both
parties actively engaging in the Merchants Fleet Annual Fleet and Strategic
Summits throughout 2022. This collaboration has enabled discussions on
environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities between McLaren Racing
CEO Zak Brown, NEOM McLaren Extreme E driver Emma Gilmour, and Brendan P.
Keegan, Chairman, CEO, and President of Merchants Fleet. Notably, Zak and
Brendan have also embarked on a joint podcast series titled "Fast &
Fearless: Accelerating Leadership," focusing on leadership, growth, and
business skills.
With a strong emphasis on electrification and DE&I, this
partnership reinforces McLaren's support for Merchants' ACCELER8 ESG
initiative. Additionally, the Merchants Fleet logo will continue to prominently
feature on the NEOM McLaren Extreme E race vehicle and the drivers' race
attire.
