Arabia expands water network to meet growing demand
The water network expansion in
Riyadh and Diriyah has been successfully completed, with a total project
investment of around SAR 37 million. The project, undertaken by the National
Water Company (NWC), involved the installation of pipelines with varying
diameters across a total length of 132 kilometres.
The new infrastructure spans
multiple districts, including Leban and Tuwaiq, along with other key
neighbourhoods throughout Riyadh and Diriyah.

According to NWC, the upgrades aim to enhance water coverage, improve daily distribution efficiency, and strengthen water security to support the rapid urban expansion in the region.
The company also emphasized that the expansion is designed to address the
rising demand for water services while improving service quality and
operational performance across the area.
