Qiddiya and King Faisal hospital join hands to launch sports medicine
centre in Riyadh
Qiddiya Investment Company has signed a
collaboration agreement with King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research
Centre to establish the Qiddiya Sports Medical Centre in Riyadh, a
facility dedicated to delivering world-class sports healthcare services.
The initiative is part of Qiddiya’s broader
strategy to develop a specialized hub for sports medicine that will serve
professional athletes, rising talents, and the wider community, helping advance
sports healthcare across the Kingdom.
The agreement was formalized at KFSH headquarters in Riyadh by CEO Dr. Majid Alfayyadh and Abdullah AlDawood, with senior representatives from both organizations in attendance.

As part of the partnership, KFSH will provide
technical expertise and operational support, as well as oversee the centre’s
management. The goal is to deliver integrated services that combine clinical
excellence with cutting-edge research and innovation in specialized care.
The upcoming Qiddiya Sports Medical Centre
will offer a full spectrum of services, including injury prevention, diagnosis,
treatment, rehabilitation, and performance optimization. The project is
expected to play a key role in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s sports sector while
supporting the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030.
The collaboration also reflects a broader effort to bridge the healthcare and sports industries, contributing to the development of advanced infrastructure that supports athletic performance and public well-being.
