Saudi Arabia achieves major targets under Vision 2030
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of
Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, has announced that 85% of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives have been
completed or are progressing as planned as of the end of 2024.
Speaking at the Fortune
Global Forum in Riyadh, Al-Falih highlighted the country’s strides in
economic diversification and social transformation.
“We’ve made remarkable progress

The minister’s remarks provided a
rare progress update ahead of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference
opening this Tuesday. While Al-Falih did not specify which milestones were
achieved, he noted that 675 multinational companies have now established their
regional headquarters in Riyadh—a key pillar of Vision 2030’s strategy to
attract global business operations.
Despite the strong progress, Vision
2030 continues to navigate economic headwinds and logistical challenges that
have led to some project adjustments. The ambitious national blueprint aims to diversify
Saudi Arabia’s economy beyond oil, modernize its society, and position the
Kingdom as a global hub for investment, tourism, and innovation.
