As the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team gears up for Season 10 starting in January 2024, British driver Sam Bird is setting his sights on the Diriyah E-Prix double-header on January 26 and 27. With an impressive track record at the Riyadh circuit, including two wins and a podium finish, Bird is poised for another thrilling performance.

Joining NEOM McLaren Formula E Team in August, Bird expressed satisfaction with the team's work ethic, emphasizing the high-level performance across various departments. The 36-year-old veteran of all nine seasons of the electric car series is optimistic about the team's prospects in Mexico when the season kicks off on January 13.

Addressing the introduction of the Gen3 car in Season 9, Bird acknowledged the initial adjustments and teething problems but anticipates improved performance and reliability across the board in Season 10. As Formula E gains recognition, Bird emphasized the importance of building a larger fan base, noting the series's entertaining, action-packed races that appeal to a diverse audience.
