SALCO awarded AMAALA resort
design contract by Red Sea Global
Red Sea Global (RSG),
the visionary developer behind the Red Sea Project and AMAALA, has disclosed
that Saudi SALCO Contracting Company (SALCO) has secured the contract for
hardscape and softscape design at Rosewood AMAALA in Triple Bay.
SALCO, a distinguished
general contractor specializing in external works, site development,
infrastructure, landscape, and irrigation projects, emerged as the chosen
contractor due to its exceptional prowess in crafting remarkable outdoor
environments.
RSG's decision to
select SALCO as the contracting partner is grounded in the company's proven
expertise in creating extraordinary outdoor spaces. Fahad Al Balawi, Head of
Construction at AMAALA, expressed his delight in appointing SALCO for the
softscape works, emphasizing their unwavering confidence in SALCO's ability to
enhance the beauty and ambiance of the Rosewood Resort and Branded Residences.
He further highlighted the shared commitment to sustainability, underscoring
how this partnership will contribute to realizing their goal of establishing a
world-leading luxury regenerative tourism destination.
With over 40 years of
expertise and an impressive track record, SALCO is the perfect match for this
landmark project, according to RSG's statement. Their role will involve
transforming the property's outdoor areas in alignment with the design
concept's ambitious landscape goals.

SALCO, conveyed his eagerness to collaborate with Red Sea Global on this
monumental endeavor. He added that their partnership is a testament to a shared

RSG underlined that
AMAALA's inaugural development phase, centered on the Triple Bay project, will
encompass eight hotels with over 1,200 hotel keys upon its full completion in
2027. The destination will also feature 3,000 hotel rooms across 25 hotels,
along with upscale retail establishments, fine dining venues, wellness
offerings, and recreational facilities.
