Korean construction equipment companies look forward to receive orders from NEOM  

Korean construction equipment industry, including renowned companies like Doosan Bobcat, HD Hyundai Infracore, and HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, is looking forward to participate in Saudi Arabia’s ambitious $500 billion NEOM future city project.

NEOM Project entered its full-scale construction phase in 2022, following four years of meticulous planning. Currently, the workforce at the site has already reached 60,000 individuals, and essential construction activities, such as groundwork, are progressing at a rapid pace.

Korean construction equipment has played a significant role in the project, with over 6,000 units in use at NEOM construction sites as of the previous year's end. These equipment pieces include excavators, bulldozers, and loaders, all bearing Korean brands like Doosan and HD Hyundai.

As the number of construction workers is projected to surge to 400,000 in the coming year, a proportional expansion in related equipment is also expected, further bolstering opportunities for Korean construction equipment manufacturers.
